“When you die, only three things will remain of you, since you will abandon all material things on the threshold of the Otherworld; what you have taught to others, what you have created with your hands, and how much love you have spread. So learn more and more in order to teach wise, long-lasting values. Work more and more to leave the world things of great beauty. And love, love, love people around you for the light of love heals everything." ~ French Druid Triad – Francois Bourillon

Years ago, I frequented Dream Width with my [personal profile] aingeal account. Over a period of time, I succumbed to the lure of social media thus drifting away from this space.

I've recently returned, however, desiring instead to experience a deeper connection with friends and loved ones while leaving behind the noise of the social masses.

"Spirituality is not a formula; it is not a test. It is a relationship. Spirituality is not about competency; it is about intimacy. Spirituality is not about perfection; it is about connection. The way of the spiritual life begins where we are now in the mess of our lives." ~ Mike Yaconelli

About Me

Hi, I’m Dawna Kreis, a coach, mentor, and content creator passionate about helping women and men navigate life’s transitions, rediscover their purpose, and create lives filled with joy and fulfillment. Through my work, I guide individuals on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth, using tools like journaling, mindfulness, energy healing, and heart-centered practices.

As the creator of The Garden of the Mental Mystic, my mission is to hold space for your transformation—where your mind blooms and your soul awakens. Whether you’re stepping into a new chapter, seeking clarity, or reconnecting with your authentic self, I’m here to support and inspire you every step of the way.

Let’s grow together. 🌸

What’s with “Mental Mystic”?

“The Mental Mystic” is a name I gave myself years ago, during a time when I was stuck in my head and struggled to let my intuition flow freely. While I’ve come a long way since then, it’s still a gentle reminder of my journey—and my “peeps” (my spiritual guides) often nudge me to:

1️⃣ Step out of my head and let go of overthinking.
2️⃣ Remember to ask for their assistance when I need it.

It’s a name that reflects both my growth and the ongoing practice of balancing logic with intuition—a dance I know many of us can relate to.

Why have I gone back to it?

Being “logical” and rational-minded isn’t something I’m particularly proud of or ashamed of—it simply is. It’s a part of who I am, and something I stay mindful of as I continue to strengthen my intuition and deepen my spiritual practice.

The moniker “The Mental Mystic” has become something of a conversation piece. To me, it’s a reminder that we all start somewhere on this journey. Whether you’re a budding mystic or a seasoned one, the path of growth and self-discovery is something we all share.

Some of us are born “switched on,” naturally attuned to our intuition.
Some of us aren’t—or at least it doesn’t seem that way at first.
Some of us are raised by supportive families who nurture our gifts.
Some of us aren’t.

But here’s what I’ve learned: just because your intuition doesn’t flow easily at first doesn’t mean you’re not intuitive or that you don’t “have what it takes.”

Each and every one of us is a spark of Divine Energy encapsulated in an organic vessel. Intuition is our birthright. When we say, “I’m not intuitive,” it simply means we haven’t yet discovered how our intuition uniquely expresses itself within us.

That’s where a little guidance and encouragement can go a long way.

I’m grateful to have had those gifts in my own life, and it’s my deepest desire to pay it forward.

Welcome to my Garden!

Pull up a seat, make yourself comfortable, and let’s have a little chat. This is a space for connection, reflection, and growth, and I truly look forward to sharing it with you.
